Hull: Five in court on drugs charges

Five men have been charged after they were arrested at a property on Newland Grove, Hull, on Wednesday 23 March.

Officers entered the property and discovered approximately £3,000 of Class A drugs and an estimated £1,500 of cash.

Umair Shakeel (23) of Ryan Street, Bradford, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and heroin, possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, and acquiring criminal property, namely cash.

Shadi Hassen (25) of Ladywell Close, Bradford, Tommy Tomassi (20) of Newland Grove, Hull, and two juveniles from Hull have all been charged with possession with intent to supply crack cocaine and heroin, and acquiring criminal property, namely cash.

All five have been remanded to appear in Hull Magistrates Court today.
