Men charged after car stolen in Cottingham burglary

Two men have been charged after a car was stolen during a burglary in Cottingham last week.  

Elliott Boothby, 18, of Orchard Park Road has been charged with burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, failing to stop, failing to provide a sample, driving without insurance and driving without a license.

Kieron Stewart, 18, of Coxwold Grove, Hull has been charged with burglary and theft of a motor vehicle.

Both men have been bailed with conditions and are due to appear at Hull Magistrates Court later this month.

On Wednesday, 1 June, it was reported that two men had entered an address on Kingtree Avenue and taken keys from inside before taking a vehicle from outside the property.  

A car was stopped by officers in Hull a short time later and the two men were arrested.
