4th October 2022Hull: Man arrested for Holderness Road robberies
A man is currently in police custody following two incidents on Holderness Road, Hull on Monday 3 October.
At approximately 4:00pm a man entered One Stop and is believed to have threatened staff before taking bottles of alcohol and fleeing the scene.
A short whilst later, a man then entered Heron Foods and is believed to have demanded funds from the till whilst threatening staff.
Thankfully, nobody was injured, and he fled the scene as officers were called.
A 37-year-old man was arrested a short distance away on suspicion of two counts of robbery and remains in custody whilst officers continue with enquiries.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for witnesses or for anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage of the area to contact police on 101, quoting log 350 of 3 October.
