Blue Light Day 2017

A special City of Culture family fun day organised by Humberside Police and a host of local partners, will take place on Saturday 15 July 2017 from 11am to 5pm at East Park, Hull .

The day offers local families the chance to explore all aspects of policing from police vehicles past and present to trying your hand at solving a burglary.

Things to see and do at the show will include:
•Police dogs
•A chance to try on riot gear
•Try out our confined spaces trailer – if you dare!
•See a range of historic police vehicles
•Meet representatives from the marine and underwater search team
•A chance to have a go at the police fitness test
•Children’s fairground rides
•Stalls and information tents
•Two walkthrough displays – one aimed at everyone focusing on burglary and a second aimed at older children and adults which challenges us all to consider the ways in which young people can be vulnerable
