Welcome House & their Calendar of Events!

Welcome House has an exciting lineup of events and activities planned for 2025! Explore past and upcoming events below, featuring key highlights you won’t want to miss.

January was spent planning and reflecting on their work so far. 

February saw their first Welcome House Football Festival.

In March, there will be an International Women’s Day celebration.

In April they will hold a belated Eid party for families, along with a Fundraising Event in April, to help support their projects. Look out for details soon.

In May they will host an Educational Festival and on 20^th May, it’s Thanks to their Supporters Day.

In June (2^nd – 8^th) it’s Volunteers Week and 16^th – 22^nd is Refugee Week.

July they will host an Annual Mega Social Gathering! 

In August the team will be organising three trips to the seaside, one for people living in hotels, one for Hull and East Riding and one for Afghan families.

September will feature an Afghan Culture Celebration Event. 

In October  the team will host their first Diwali Celebration and celebrate Black History Month. There will also be a Fundraising Dinner during this busy month.

In November, another Reflection Day

December  will run their Christmas Hampers Mission, Diversity Christmas Carols and on 23^rd December, their Christmas Party.
