Volunteer Advice Enhancement Workshops are back!
Do your volunteers often get asked questions about issues such as benefits, debt, housing etc?
Would your volunteers benefit from enhancing their knowledge in some of the most common issues that people in our communities face?
Citizens Advice Hull & East Riding and Age UK Hull & East Yorkshire have partnered up to offer free one day workshops to volunteers of other charities and organisations to help enhance their advice knowledge.
The workshops will cover the following:
- Attendance Allowance
- Carers Allowance
- Pension Credit
- Personal Independence Payment
- Universal Credit
- Housing & Homelessness
- Debt
Workshop Aims:
- Better understanding of subject areas
- Recognising issues and potential entitlement
- Knowledge of where to find further information
- Where to signpost and refer
Workshop Dates
Wednesday 13TH August 2025
Wednesday 17th September 2025
Wednesday 15th October 2025
Wednesday 12th November 2025
The workshops will run from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

Axida House, 350 Preston Road
Hull
HU9 5HH
Attendees must be a volunteer and only need to attend one workshop, travel expenses within Hull & East Riding can be claimed with receipts/tickets, free parking available and refreshments and lunch will be provided.
Spaces are limited.
