Stoptober is starting soon! 🚭

SmokeFree Hull support adults and young people aged 12+ stop smoking through our behavioural support and Nicotine Replacement Therapy, up to a 12-week treatment programme.

During October they support the national Stoptober campaign, to promote their service and encourage the local community to stop smoking.

The theme for this year’s campaign is ‘Let’s quit smoking together this Stoptober’. This conveys strength in numbers – allowing them to reassure people that when quitting, they’re part of a large and supportive community of people like them. It also refers to the vast range of support that’s available to help people quit successfully. Ultimately, their aim is to let the smoker know that they are not alone in their quit attempt.

Stop smoking training

They also provide free stop smoking training to healthcare professionals, community groups and businesses in Hull to demonstrate the risks of smoking, the benefits of quitting and referral pathways into our specialist service for support.
