Rural Task Force team up with Mini Police.

This week, the Rural Task Force have joined forces with Mini Police Officers from North Frodingham Primary School to explore the Countryside Code.

The pupils began in the classroom, discussing what they should and shouldn’t do when spending time in the countryside — for example, the importance of closing gates, avoiding climbing over hedgerows and walls, and not leaving litter behind.

Following the classroom session, they then headed out into the countryside to put their learning into practice. The pupils demonstrated an excellent understanding of the Countryside Code and were disappointed to see how much litter and dog waste had been left in the area.

Their enthusiasm and awareness were fantastic to see — well done to all involved!
