Get close to nature at the Tophill Low Nature Reserve open day

It’s Tophill Low Nature Reserve’s annual open day on the 9th of June and its back after a really successful 2023 event! Again, an array of really good displays and trade stands on a conservation theme. Something for everyone from badge making and pond dipping to high end optics and insightful tours from expert guides.

Many of the regulars come for the peace and tranquility – and that’ll be here too – in 2019 there were spoonbills on south marsh the same day! Organisers recommend it as a great opportunity to bring your family and friends down and see what you find special; With this the perfect time whilst the orchid meadows are in full bloom and the nesting colonies are alive with young birds.

Free admission on the day and they will look forward to seeing you!
