11.03.26 – Menopaus’ull Walk and Talk at Kingswood
24th February 2026
26.03.26 – Menopaus’ull Café @ The Hinge Centre, Bridlington
24th February 2026Join Menopaus’ull for an evening of exploration into Self Regulation of the Nervous system

At Menopaus’ull we talk a lot about hormones, but what about the nervous system that is trying to cope with all of these changes?
During menopause so many of us experience anxiety, overwhelm, poor sleep, irritability, burnout and that constant feeling of being ‘on edge’. It can feel confusing and deeply personal. But often it isn’t a personal failing at all – it’s a nervous system under strain.
We’re really pleased to be welcoming back Laura Starky, Trauma-Informed Therapist, to guide us through an evening of gentle exploration into nervous system regulation. This won’t be a clinical lecture or something else to ‘fix’ about yourself, it’s an opportunity to understand what’s happening in your body and to learn simple, practical ways to create more steadiness from within.
If you have ever thought to yourself ”Why do I feel like this?” then this session could be just the thing you need!
Read on as Laura shares the story and intention behind this powerful conversation:
”I am not a menopause expert and this will be more a conversation than a lecture but I am a woman who struggled with the transition into this stage of life. Most of my adult life (well until I was 52) I struggled with alcohol dependency. Before I found nervous system regulation, I spent years feeling overwhelmed, driven, restless, exhausted with frequent burnout cycles – always trying to manage myself better.
What changed things for me wasn’t more insight or more effort. It was learning how regulation actually works in the body.
This session is an invitation to explore what nervous system regulation is and how we can begin to find more ease from the inside out. Not as another thing to get right or keep up with, but as something practical, human and doable.
We’ll be looking at how to work with the body in a way that moves us away from self-blame and the sense that we’re failing. The micro practices I’ll share are easy and realistic, designed to meet real life rather than ideal routines.
I’ll be keeping the session interactive, with space for questions and shared reflections. I am genuinely looking forward to being in the room together, learning from you and gaining insight into how regulation shows up (or doesn’t show up) in your lives too.”
