As part of this year’s Butterfly City planting week Butterfly City Hull will be hosting a community plant and seed swap on Pickering Road Community Orchard.
At the event you can pick up a FREE Alder Buckthorn to plant out to encourage the Brimstone Butterfly!
Do you have packets of seeds you will never get to plant out? Do you want to start growing but don’t know where to start? Have you dug up loads of spreading plants in your garden and would hate to just compost them? Have your house plants had loads of babies and they need a new home? Well, this Seed and Plant swap is for you!
Bring any excess seeds and plants to give away or exchange for other seeds and plants.
If you don’t have any plants or seeds you are welcome to take some away to try growing at home.
This event is here to bring everyone together to celebrate the start of the 2022 growing season!!
