One of the most important things everyone can do to reduce the spread of Coronavirus is to immediately isolate and book a test at the first sign of any one symptom.
Hull now has a number of community-based Coronavirus testing sites, with availability for drive-thru and walk-up appointments to ensure tests are accessible for everyone.
Sites in the city are based at:
All tests are available by booked appointment only.
Tim Fielding, Deputy Director of Public Health at Hull City Council, said: “There is widespread availability of testing for anyone who has one or more symptoms of Coronavirus. Isolating along with your household and booking a test remains the most important thing we can all do to reduce the spread of the virus.
“Since the initial test site was opened at the Humber Bridge country park site, working with partners, we have been able to introduce a number of further sites. They’re spread around the city, based within communities, to make it as easy as possible for anyone who needs a test to get one quickly and close to home.
“Testing for people with symptoms shouldn’t be confused with asymptomatic testing, which is regular testing for people without any symptoms or illness. This is happening in a very targeted way in areas including health and social care, universities, prisons, schools, frontline NHS workers and council staff in certain critical roles.
