9th June 2021Training for Employers on how they can contribute to the reduction of domestic abuse

The Department for Work and Pensions is a delivery partner of the Employers Domestic Abuse Covenant (EDAC), pledging to support women affected by abuse to (re) enter the workplace. As part of this, we have pledged to raise awareness of domestic abuse within the workplace.
Given this, we would like to invite you to EDAC Talks, a series of virtual monthly talks hosted by EDAC aimed to encouraging meaningful dialogue around Domestic Abuse and features guest speakers including Government Ministers, VAWG experts, EDAC members, Signatory Partners, Domestic Abuse survivors and more.
The first in this series of EDAC Talks will explore how businesses can tackle Domestic Abuse, what more needs to be done and the economic impact this can have on victims/survivors. Please find details below:
· When: June 14th 12:00pm – 1:00pm
· Where: Virtually (Zoom)
· Click here to register your place
We encourage you to attend, as it is a great way to learn about what being an EDAC member means and also expand your knowledge of Domestic Abuse. Through this, we can come together as an organisation to tackle domestic abuse, as domestic abuse is everyone’s business.
If you are interested in finding out more about what our EDAC membership means or would like to get involved, please let us know or visit edacuk.org
