Neighbourhood Network Awards 2019

The Neighbourhood Network are pleased to announce that the 2019 Awards applications are now open!!

The annual Awards event has been going since 2014 and every year the NN team have been growing and tailoring the event to meet the developing and changing needs of the voluntary and community sector in Hull. This year is no exception, from previous years we have slightly changed the categories and application process, to make it easier and more appealing to the developing groups and individuals who are stepping forward to make a difference within their communities.

This year the categories are as follows:

Voluntary Group of the Year

Celebrating the coming together of individuals to collectively make a difference and bring positive changes to a community.

Health & Wellbeing Award

Encouraging participation in achieving healthier minds and bodies.

Project of the Year

Projects that are making a real impact within their community

Volunteer Champion of the Year

An individual’s significant contribution to a community or project.

Neighbourhood Watch Contribution Award (decided by NN Managers & Trustees)

Presented to those groups or individuals that have embraced the ethos of Neighbourhood Watch and are striving to make a positive difference to their neighbourhoods.

Above and Beyond Award (decided by NN Managers & Trustees)

Presented to those individuals/agencies/groups that the Neighbourhood Network team have come across within their work that go the extra mile for the communities they serve.

The Awards event will be taking place at The Guildhall, Alfred Gelder Street, Hull on Tuesday 22nd October 2019, starting at 6.30pm.
