8th October 2021A busy week for the NN Team!

Well it’s been another busy week at the Neighbourhood Network office. It is quickly coming up to our Annual Awards & 10th Anniversary celebration so the preparations are in full swing. Although the nominations for awards have now closed, members are still warmly welcomed to attend the evening – to book your seat please just drop us an email on office@nnetwork.org.uk, we would love to see you all there.
We have also hosted really informative online Cancer Champion Awareness session held by the amazing Emma & Zoe from Humber Coast & Vale Cancer Alliance. As always this session was friendly, educational & helped to break down the barriers of talking openly about cancer and the symptoms of cancer. A huge thank you to everyone who attended and a special thanks to the Humber Coast & Vale team for making these sessions so open and welcoming.
Alongside that we are so pleased to have also held our first Face to Face gathering in our office meeting room at The Bespoke Centre. We were delighted to hold a ‘Say No To Fraud’ performance that was put on by the very talented local group Spin Off Productions. This production was funded by the Hull Crime Reduction Fund and is aimed at highlighting the techniques that fraudsters use to gain your personal details and aims to equip potential victims of fraud with information on how to spot a potential scam and say NO to fraudsters. Again, we would like to thank everyone that attended and Spin Off Productions for their great performance!
