Description
Grants are available to support not-for-profit organisations in Hull to undertake activities which will help to strengthen local communities and build connectivity between people.

Maximum value: £ 1,000
Objectives of Fund
Grants will support charitable organisations based and working for the benefit of communities in the area served by Hull City Council. Projects must aim to address local needs.
Value Notes
Grants of up to £1,000 are available.
Priority will be given to projects where the grant covers the majority of the project costs.
Who Can Apply
Eligible applicants must:
- Be a voluntary organisation, community group, small charity or other type of not-for-profit organisation.
- Be based in the area served by Hull City Council.
- Have a bank account in the group’s name (with two unrelated signatories).
- Have a management committee with at least three unrelated members.
Restrictions
Multiple applications within one year will not be considered.
Eligible Expenditure
Grants are for projects that aim to address local needs. Activities that could be funded include:
- Host community events.
- Purchasing new equipment/materials.
- Setting up a new pilot project/starting a new group.
- Staffing costs/volunteer expenses/professional fees.
- Transport costs.
- Social action projects.
