Humberside Police and Crime Commissioner – Community Safety Fund

Description

Grants are available to local not-for-profit groups to facilitate new initiatives that tackle community safety problems the Humber area.

Maximum value: £ 35,000

Objectives of Fund

The funding is intended to reduce crime/antisocial behaviour and improve community safety, with a particular focus on the strategic aims of the Police and Crime Plan:

• Engaged, Resilient and Inclusive Communities.
• Safer Communities.
• Effective Organisations.

Value Notes

There is a funding pot of £1.1 million between 2022/23 and 2024/25.

There are two levels of funding available:

• Small grants: £500 to £5,000 (maximum project size £25,000).
• Medium grants: £5,001 to £35,000 (maximum project size £175,000).

In exceptional cases the PCC may be able to provide funding greater than £35,000 to strategically important projects that will have a substantial impact on communities.

Match Funding Restrictions

Projects should generally have a match funding contribution of at least 10% of the total project value.

Who Can Apply

The following types of organisations may apply:

• Charities.
• Social enterprises.
• Community groups.
• Town and parish councils.
