Grants are available to local not-for-profit groups to facilitate new initiatives that tackle community safety problems the Humber area.

Maximum value: £ 35,000
Objectives of Fund
The funding is intended to reduce crime/antisocial behaviour and improve community safety, with a particular focus on the strategic aims of the Police and Crime Plan:
- Engaged, Resilient and Inclusive Communities.
- Safer Communities.
- Effective Organisations.
Value Notes
There is a funding pot of £1.1 million between 2022/23 and 2024/25.
There are two levels of funding available:
- Small grants: £500 to £5,000 (maximum project size £25,000).
- Medium grants: £5,001 to £35,000 (maximum project size £175,000).
In exceptional cases the PCC may be able to provide funding greater than £35,000 to strategically important projects that will have a substantial impact on communities.
Match Funding Restrictions
Projects should generally have a match funding contribution of at least 10% of the total project value.
Who Can Apply
The following types of organisations may apply:
- Charities.
- Social enterprises.
- Community groups.
- Town and parish councils.
