24th January 2025Marshall and Viggars Charitable Trust

Grants are available to charitable organisations based or working in Yorkshire and the Humber for projects that address disability; medical care, relief and welfare; medical research; care, relief or protection of animals.
The Marshall and Viggars Charitable Trust is a very small grant giving charity that was initially set up as the Marjorie Viggars Charitable Trust. The name was changed to the Marshall and Viggars Charitable Trust when the estate of Mrs Eileen Lucy Marshall was transferred to the Marshall Viggars Charitable Trust.
Objectives of Fund
The Trust offers a limited amount of funding each year to charitable organisations in Yorkshire and the Humber.
Value Notes
Grants of between £250 and £750 are available.
Who Can Apply
Applications will be accepted from organisations that are based, or operating, in Yorkshire and the Humber for charitable purposes.
Location
Hull, East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, North Lincolnshire & North East Lincolnshire.
Restrictions
The following are not eligible for funding:
- Overheads, such as rent and salaries.
- Living costs.
- Organisations that operate outside of Yorkshire and the Humber.
Eligible Expenditure
The funding can support charitable projects that fall within one of the following categories:
- Human, physical or mental disability.
- Medical care, relief and welfare.
- Medical research.
- Care, relief or protection of animals.
How To Apply
Applications can be made any time throughout the year and will be considered twice a year at the Trustee meeting which are usually held in February and August.
There is no standard application form.
