11th January 2023Cost of Living Survey

Following Healthwatch Hull’s work in late 2022 surrounding the Cost of Living Crisis and the detrimental effect it will undoubtedly have and is currently having on many of the population of Hull and many across the UK. Healthwatch Hull has decided to release a short online survey asking residents what impact the rising cost of living is having on their health and well-being.
Whilst the survey is short and currently only accessible online, it ensures that the voices of people living in Hull are heard, on both a local and national level. The survey coincides with a similar project survey conducted by the Healthwatch East Riding of Yorkshire team whom we often work alongside.
If you live in Hull or the East Riding of Yorkshire and have a moment to spare, would you be willing to complete the survey? We’d greatly appreciate your views.
Thankyou for your time!
What impact has the Cost of Living Crisis had on your health and wellbeing? Why this subject?
Increased food, fuel and energy prices mean that many more of us are now facing financial hardship and having to make tough decisions about where our money is spent.
For some, this may also have a detrimental effect on health and well-being.
Healthwatch England are keen to find out how the cost of living crisis is affecting day to day lives, and the impact it is having on people’s abilities to stay well and access health and care services.
By completing the Cost of Living survey, you are helping to ensure that the voices of people living in Hull and the East Riding are heard on a local level and by the Government at a national level.
