Walking group set up for bereaved parents

Fitmums and Friends have launched a new walking group for bereaved parents. A specialist healthcare team from Castle Hill Hospital in Cottingham has now teamed up with Fitmums & Friends to help support bereaved parents.

The ‘LiLY’ walks (which stands for Lives Lost Young) have been set up to provide support to the families that are bereaved by the loss of a child or young person.

These FREE walks take place once a month from Beverley Rugby Union Club on Norwood in Beverley. Distances of one to three miles are available, with a drink and biscuit in the clubhouse afterwards.

Walks will then take place at the same venue on the second Wednesday of the month each month thereafter.
