Rubbish Friends events

Local community group Rubbish Friends are a group of people who enjoy getting outdoors, meeting new people all with the added bonus of collecting litter and improving their environment.

They have currently organised 2 events and would love to meet any new volunteers that would enjoy being involved, the more the merrier!

10am Saturday 24 April “Flash guerrilla gardening” Clough Rd There’s a small, neglected flowerbed on the corner of Clough Rd and Beverley Rd that we’ll be planting up. Should only take half an hour but please pop down if you’re interested. Any donations of spare plants or seedlings appreciated.

1pm Saturday 1 May Barmston Drain from Stepney Lane with Hull Friends of The Earth and Sculcoates Open Spaces Meet at end of Stepney Lane as you turn onto Barmston Drain. Please let me know if you are attending and also if you need to borrow equipment.
