Anti-Knife Crime Community Fund Opens for Applications

The Government is providing funding for local groups across England and Wales to stop knife crime in their community.

The Home Office has launched a second round of the Anti-Knife Crime Community Fund with £1 million available for projects taking place in 2018/19.

The fund has been set up to support community projects which reduce knife crime and have a positive impact on young people at risk of carrying a knife and committing crime.

Voluntary and community sector group can apply now for grants of up to £30,000. Applications for greater funding will be considered for projects with collaboration between partners.

The funding is for projects that demonstrate the following:

• Delivery of outcomes to stop knife crimes.
• A proven track record of delivering local interventions.
• Proven track record of ability to work with children and young people.
• Proven track record of ability to work in partnership with other organisations and services.
• Evidence of value for money.

Voluntary and community sector groups and organisations in England and Wales can apply.

The deadline for applications is 15 June 2018.
