A 79 year-old man who died of his injuries following a collision on Ferensway on Sunday 27th August has been named as Raymond Carter of Bransholme.  Raymond was a well-liked and respected man in Branholme and will be sadly missed by his family, who have asked to be left to grieve in privacy.

A taxi collided with the man at 5.45pm on Sunday 27 August in the city centre. He died of his injuries in hospital on Monday 28 August.
