Active Humber Conference

You are invited to a morning of discussion and networking at 10am on Friday 19th October at the Forest Pines Hotel, Scunthorpe.

This event will look at exploring these priority groups further and looking ahead at working together to #GetHumberActive. Both Dr William Bird (MBE) and Scott Hartley are confirmed as speakers at the conference.

Dr William Bird is one of the UK’s leading experts on physical activity and building active communities and has more than three decades of experience in practising medicine. William has helped transform the health of millions of people across the UK through innovative health initiatives he has developed.

Scott Hartley is the CEO of Press Red. Scott will follow on from his address at the Active Humber event in March, where he articulated a clear picture through insight of the opportunities and challenges the Humber face in getting people physically active. Active Humber have continued their work with Press Red digging a bit deeper into the data at a more local level and look forward to Scott sharing their findings with everyone,  to help focus in on those key challenges.
