Appeal for witnesses in an attempted robbery on Leads Road in Hull

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses to an attempted robbery on Leads Road, Hull shortly before 5pm on Thursday 10 August. 

It was reported that a 59-year-old woman was walking along Leads Road towards Sutton Road when she was approached from behind by two people on a motorbike. The pillion passenger attempted to take the woman’s handbag from her arm causing her to suffer minor injuries to her arm and the contents of the bag to spill onto the floor. 

The motorcyclist and passenger then rode off on the bike turning left onto Sutton Road.
