Appeals for witnesses of serious road traffic collision

Humberside Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious road traffic collision (RTC) which happened on the A1033 at Camerton near Thorngumbald, Holderness, at 4.30pm Tuesday 20 June.

Two vehicles were involved in the collision, a blue Vauxhall Astra and a bronze Ford Fiesta.

The drivers of both vehicles sustained minor injuries. The 73 year-old lady passenger of the Astra sustained serious and potentially life-threatening injuries.

The Astra was travelling westbound along Main Road and the Fiesta was travelling eastbound at the time of the collision.

We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision that has not already spoken to us to call the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 408 of 20/06/17.
