A man has allegedly been assaulted by a group of youths during an incident in Hull.
The victim was walking with a friend on Park Street just after 9pm on 18 February 2018 when they were approached by a group of around twelve males who asked them for a cigarette.
When they refused, the victim was allegedly assaulted. His friend managed to run off but the group demanded money and a guitar the victim was carrying. He was allegedly assaulted again and sustained serious injuries to his jaw and black eyes. Nothing was stolen.
Humberside Police are appealing for information about this incident and want anyone who may have seen anything to get in touch.
