Description
Grants are available for Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) led voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector organisations across the UK to help them support their communities during and beyond the coronavirus/COVID-19 crisis, building wellbeing, resilience, and capacity.

Objectives of Fund
The funding is intended for a range of wellbeing, resilience, and capacity building projects run by small and medium sized BAME-led organisations during the pandemic/post-pandemic period.
Value Notes
Three levels of funding are available:
- Option 1: Grants of up to £5,000 for organisations with an annual income of under £50,000.
- Option 2: Grants of up to £10,000 for organisations with an annual income of between £50,000 and £150,000.
- Option 3: Micro grants of between £500 and £1,000.
Who Can Apply
Applications are accepted from the following types of organisations:
- Voluntary and community organisations.
- Registered charities.
- Charitable incorporated organisations.
- Faith groups.
- Constituted but unincorporated clubs/associations.
- Constituted community groups.
To be eligible for funding organisations must be BAME-led. For the purposes of this Fund a “BAME-led organisation” is defined as having a majority of its governing body (or staff make-up) from BAME communities, with its services designed, targeted and delivered to BAME communities.
Organisations that are not constituted, do not have a bank account, or are a new organisation can still apply for funding via a host organisation which meets the criteria listed above.
Restrictions
The following are not eligible for funding:
- Costs already incurred.
- Activities that generate profits for private gain.
- Religious activities (although faith organisations can apply where they are delivering benefit to the community).
- Activities that benefit individuals.
Organisations with an annual turnover of more than £150,000 are unlikely to be funded.
