Round open – 9.30am 28th Oct – 6.00pm 15th Nov and you will be notified on the outcome of your application by email within 8 weeks of the round closing.
The Foundation offers grants to UK Registered Charities looking for projects that improve homes and communities spaces for those who are experiencing homelessness, in financial hardship, impacted by health, disability or other disadvantage or distress.
Organisations can apply for two type of grants:
- Up to £5,000 for garden projects
- Up to £10,000 for building or indoor projects.
What types of charities and projects does the B&Q Foundation fund?
They help charities who are supporting people in need in the UK – those experiencing homelessness, in financial hardship, impacted by health, disability, or other disadvantage or distress. They believe that everyone needs a place to feel at home. So, are looking to fund projects that decorate, renovate, or create spaces where people can feel at home
and have a sense of belonging. This can be both indoor and outdoor.

To apply you will need to submit an Expression of Interest form. The second stage in an invite only from Neighbourly to eligible groups to complete a full application.
Projects need to be delivered within six months of receiving the grant.
