Busy week for the NN Team

Hopefully over the next few weeks we will be moving all our member groups to the new style newsletter. We really would appreciate your feedback on this and likewise if you have any good news stories or events you would like to be included.

This week has seen us received five enquiries from new groups across the city, wanting to be part of the Neighbourhood Network, which is fantastic news! We’ve also had one new group complete the paperwork and become a fully fledged members, so welcome to Alms House Allotment Group!

The cycle crime reduction project is ongoing and this week 3 new locks were purchased from the team. The Hull East Communities Police Team have also been out promoting the scheme to retail premises that have recently become targets for cycle theft, so they can supply information on how to purchase the Gold Secure locks at the promotional rate.

We’ve received some really positive feedback from a recent trial camera loan and it’s now ready to be positioned within another site in Hull.

Finally this week we’ve managed to support a fair few of our members and examples include linking them up with key personnel that can help their cause, agreeing to be guest speakers for meetings or sharing news to appeal for more members.

A really busy week for the Neighbourhood Network team!
