Cancer Champion refresher sessions – World Cancer Day 2022

In honour of World Cancer Day on 4th February 2022, the Humber Coast & Vale Cancer Alliance Team would like to invite you to attend one of their Cancer Champion refresher sessions, to help spread the word about cancer and the early signs and symptoms.

Due to current guidelines, all sessions are to be held virtually via MS Teams on;
Monday 31st January 2022, 2pm – 3pm
Tuesday 1st February 2022, 6.30pm – 7.30pm
Friday 4th February 2022, 10.30am – 11.30am

The sessions are less than an hour and are for trained Cancer Champions only. You will be reminded of the common signs and symptoms of cancer, knowing your own body and being aware of any changes, as well as talking about the NHS cancer screening programmes. This will then help you raise awareness of cancer within your networks and equip you to have conversations about cancer with family, friends and others.

If you would like to attend but none of these dates are suitable, please let them know and they will ensure that you receive a priority invitation when they next deliver the refresher sessions later in the year.
