Car stolen following Hessle burglary – young boy arrested

A 14-year-old boy as well as a 26-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of being involved in a burglary after which a car was stolen.

Keys were taken from a property during the alleged break-in on Barrow Lane in Hessle overnight between Sunday 13 and Monday 14 January. They were used to steal a Vauxhall Astra which has since been recovered. 

Humberside Police have arrested the boy who is from Hull in connection with this, as well as on suspicion of the theft of a scooter, going equipped to steal and theft of a mobile phone. 

The 26-year-old who is also from Hull has been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

They’re both in police custody.
