Cash machine stolen

Humberside Police are investigating after a cash machine was stolen from a bank in Pocklington on the morning of 22 November 2017.

They were called just after 3.30am to reports of the incident at the HSBC on Market Place.

A JCB teleporter vehicle was used to steal the ATM, which was loaded onto the back of a green and white Ford Transit flatbed van.

Officers were quickly in the area and made an extensive search. As the suspects made their escape, a police car was rammed by the van.

The Transit and the damaged ATM machine were later found abandoned near to a roundabout near Pocklington industrial estate. The JCB was left at the scene.

Two white estate cars were also used in the theft. One was thought to be an Audi.
