21st May 2021CCH Hull & East Riding Highfiver Grants
The HIGHFIVER Grants have been designed in response to the current Coronavirus challenges. We recognise that lots of micro-groups are delivering outstanding work and are finding it hard to access resources. With this in mind, this fund is particularly focused on distributing small grants (of up to £500) to groups new and old who want to support the health and wellbeing of the people in their community.
The funding has been kindly provided by the local CCG for Hull and East Riding to support the unique ways that you can help improve the health in our communities.
As part of our commitment to helping charitable organisations thrive, we will be offering continued support to help you achieve your goals, with a particular focus on supporting you with governance and safeguarding.
This grant is specifically for the Hull region, if your group is based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, please apply to the East Riding Highfiver Grant also available on Beecan
Grant Aims:
• A healthier and active community.
• Improved self-management of health
• A connected community ready to help others
Grant amount – £100 to £500
To be considered for a grant award you need to:
- Be registered as an organisation and show your activity on Beecan
- Describe your idea and how you know a difference will be made
- Demonstrate how you have identified this need
- Explain how many people will be supported
In ideal circumstances, before any grant is awarded, applicant organisations should be able to provide details of their constitution, safeguarding policy, and official group bank account. If you require guidance on this, please make direct contact with us; if appropriate we will connect you with a local voluntary group to help facilitate the funding.
