Community Engagement worker vacancy at Humber All Nations Alliance Ltd.

Humber All Nations Alliance are currently recruiting for the position of Community Engagement Worker.

Job Description:

This role requires an engaging individual who is enthusiastic in assisting others.

The Worker act as a link between communities, with our Partners and with a range of other local authority and voluntary sector providers, such as the police, social Service, schools, NHS and Local Authorities.

An involvement in projects which targets cultural, economic or geographical disadvantaged communities by identifying their needs and issues, and formulating strategies to address those issues is a priority.  

This work will also focus on areas such as the homeless, the long-term unemployed, families with young children from the BME Communities.

Working part-time (16 hours per week), due to the nature of funding. Starting salaries fall between £15,015 p.a. pro rata (£6,864.00, Actual)

Each working day will vary depending on your scheduled activities for that week. The work will often include unsocial hours, such as evenings and weekends, so considerable flexibility is required.
