Cottingham: Help police find suspect of attempted burglary of 62-year-old woman

Humberside Police have a description of a man we want to find in connection with an alleged attempted burglary in Cottingham.

It happened at a property on Saners Close around 4pm on 23 July 2018.

The man conned his way into the victim’s property, used the bathroom and looked around before leaving.

The 62-year-old woman heard noises in her bedroom an hour later, went to check and found the man in her room again. It’s thought he had climbed through a window.

She was unhurt but very shaken. Nothing was stolen.

The suspect has been described as white, 5 feet 4, with a ‘rough’ looking face and rotten teeth. He was wearing a blue baseball cap, white t-shirt, and light brown chequered knee-length shorts.
