14th July 2023County Lines drug dealer jailed for six years

Ashan Senior, aged 22, of Stockwell, London, has today been sentenced to six-years for ‘county lines’ drug dealing in Hull.

He has been convicted of being concerned in the supply of cocaine into Hull following work by Humberside Police’s Organised Crime Team in conjunction with officers from The Metropolitan Police.
Between September and December 2022, he was found to use trains on multiple occasions between London and Hull and would broadcast messages offering to supply drugs to local drug users.
Following a search of his London address, paperwork was recovered displaying numbers of known local Hull drug users in a hand-written address-book.
Following sentencing Detective Constable Paterson said, “Ashan Senior sought to bring cocaine to the streets of Hull.
“Working closely alongside our Met Police colleagues, British Transport Police and National County Lines Co-ordination Centre we were able track Senior and bring his drug dealing to an end, arresting him in London in January 2023.
“Drugs bring untold misery and crime to our communities and jailing this drug dealer will go some way to keeping our streets safer for everyone.”
