Market Engagement Event: SENDIASS and dispute mediation
26th July 2024Hull Foodbank Generalist Adviser
26th July 2024Development of a SEND Hub for Hull
Hull City Council are moving some services for children and young people with special educational needs and/or disabilities to Lil Bilocca House on Porter Street.
The ambition is that Lil Bilocca will become a hub, where you and your children can access multiple services in one place. Lil Bilocca is a convenient central location for services offered by the council and its partners. Due to the buildings size, it also provides an opportunity to extend the current leisure services.
It is crucial that the hub meets the needs of you and your children. Hull City Council have held several engagement events this year to give parents and carers the opportunity to share their experiences and ideas. All of these are being used to progress plans for the development of the building.
Hull City Council realise that not everyone is comfortable, or able, to feedback in person however their opinions are extremely valuable so they have created an online questionnaire which you can access via the link here. If you require a paper copy of the questionnaire, please call 01482 612528 or email DSBEngagement@hullcc.gov.uk. The questionnaire is available until Saturday 31 August.
Currently, the Children’s Disability Team and Occupational Therapists are based at Lil Bilocca House and the Hull Leisure and Family Support Service (LAFSS) will move when building work to make adaptations to the building is complete in the Autumn.
