Officers investigating the theft of 9ct gold necklace are appealing for information after it was forcibly removed from a man’s neck on Sunday 7 May.
A man was walking past Hammonds of Hull on Ferensway when he was approached by an unknown man at around 9pm.
The unknown man is believed to have grabbed the 9ct gold chain and was chased by the victim as he attempted to retrieve his necklace.
Police would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident, or anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist with enquires to contact Humberside Police on their non-emergency number 101 quoting investigation reference 23*65011.
