29th January 2021First Steps qualification in Working with Communities to Promote & Support Health Active Lifestyles.
As part of a social prescribing project First steps Sports are offering a qualification that would be ideal CPD for anyone who has a paid or voluntary community role.
The qualification on offer is the Active IQ Level 2 Award in Working with Communities to Promote & Support Health Active Lifestyles.
This course will be delivered over 3, 3-hour online sessions and will aim to help participants:
- Understand the health needs of different communities
- Know how to promote and support physical activity and healthy living to meet local community needs
- Know how to support individuals making activity and lifestyle changes
The course dates and times are as follows:
23rd Feb (18:00-21:00)
25th Feb (18:00-21:00)
9th March (18:00-21:00)
The course cost is £27.50 (just to secure a place and cover registration)
Delegates will receive a full accredited certificate through Active IQ on successful completion.
First Step Sports would like to encourage as many delegates from across the Hull and Humber Region as possible, increasing their impact within the community, especially at such a difficult time.
