Four men in custody following burglary in Hull

Four men have been arrested following an incident in Hull on Wednesday 11 January.

Officers were called to reports of a burglary at a property at around 10.30pm on Ellerburn Avenue, Hull. It was reported that the suspects had fled the scene in a grey Mercedes stolen from outside the premises.

Officers were deployed and following a police pursuit, officers stopped the stolen vehicle on Wyke Way outside Melton Police Station and one man was arrested.

A second vehicle was also stopped by officers on the M62 shortly after and three men were arrested.

One man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, driving dangerously and driving without insurance. Three men were arrested on suspicion of burglary and remain in our custody whilst our investigations continue.
