During the last few months the team at the Neighbourhood Network have been hosting online Zoom seminars in partnership with Humberside Police. The sessions are providing opportunities for NHW members and wider communities to advance their knowledge in all things crime prevention, with next week’s focusing on Fraud prevention.
Fraud: Take a stand against scams – Presented by Detective Sergeant Ben Robinson of Humberside Police’s Economic Crime Unit.
With over £13 million reported losses within the Humberside region over the last year – this session is one you do not want to miss.
Ben will discuss the different types of scams around, whilst using real life local examples of how fraudsters have obtained money through deception. Learn how to best protect yourself and others from scams and how to play your part in stopping others becoming future victims of fraud.
