Free online digital marketing skills bootcamp

Fareport have been commissioned by Hull City Council to deliver a Department for Education (DfE) funded online Digital Marketing Skills Bootcamp course, designed to help local crafters, artists, and makers in the Hull and East Riding area build confidence and success online.

Many talented creatives are turning their passions into thriving businesses, from handmade jewellery and home décor to ceramics, textiles, and art. But while the creative skills come naturally, promoting products online can feel more challenging. That’s where this Skills Bootcamp can make a real difference. It helps makers learn how to create a strong digital presence, reach new audiences, and boost sales through effective online marketing.

They currently have funded online courses starting on the 20^th of November and the 10^th of December 2025. The DfE funding covers eligible learners, and the criteria is straightforward, they expect most local makers to qualify.
