It’s August, and time to again remember and commemorate the many, many slaves that paid so
dearly for the freedom we all now enjoy (and perhaps take for granted).
Hull Afro Caribbean Association (HACA), in collaboration with partners, continues to raise awareness, locally, of this memorable annual event – Slavery Remembrance Day – and marks it with a special commemoration.
The event will take place on Friday 23rd August 2024 at HACA Outdoor Gardens, Park Street, Hull. HU2 8RR
