Hessle: E-fit of suspect released – Attempted robbery

Humberide Police want to trace a man in connection with the attempted robbery of a motorist on Ferriby Road in Hessle around 5.00pm on 28 November 2017.

A woman was driving along the road in her car when she was flagged down by the man.  She stopped and lowered her window a small amount when he allegedly tried to open the car door.  He then pushed a bladed weapon through the window and shouted at her to get out of her vehicle.

The woman sounded her horn and the man ran off. She was shaken but unhurt in the incident.

We have now issued an E-fit of the man we want to trace and are appealing for anyone who may recognise him or who has any information to contact us.

Please call 101 quoting ref 16/63997/17 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
