Appeal for witnesses as man is robbed and assaulted

Police are investigating the assault and robbery of a 35 year-old man on John Street in Hull on 10 June at around 5.20pm.

The 35 year-old was walking home when he was approached by another man who assaulted him and stole some cash and a bag containing cans of beer.

The man suffered serious bruising to his face in the incident.
