26th March 2018Hull: Appeal for witnesses to an attempted rape in Hull city centre
On the evening of 1 January 2018 a woman was walking with a man who she had just met in Hull city centre. The woman has alleged that he pushed her into an alleyway on Baker Street and attempted to rape her. She shouted out for help and the suspect ran away.
The victim has told police that another man was passing and may have witnessed the incident and could help with enquiries. The possible witness is described as black and wearing a red waterproof-type jacket.
Humberside Police realise it has been over three months seen the incident, however new information has come to light recently and it is only now that we can issue this appeal.
