Hull: Armed robbery on Goddard Avenue – Two arrested

Officers were called to a convenience store of Goddard Avenue just after 3.30pm today (Tuesday 30 March).

Two men are reported to have entered the premises carrying weapons and threatened the staff. 

One member of staff received minor injuries to his head during the incident and, although is very shaken by his ordeal, is recovering well.

One of the suspects sustained an injury to his face and was arrested at the scene.  A second suspect has been arrested after he handed himself in at Clough Road police station this evening.

Anyone with information that would help with enquiries or witnessed the incident, and has not already spoken to an officer, is asked to call police on the non-emergency number 101 quoting log 340 of 30 March 2021.
