Two men have been arrested this morning (Wednesday) on suspicion of possessing a class A drug with intent to supply.
Proactive officers were out on Beverley Road this morning Wednesday 3 July when they saw a suspected drugs deal going on.
A 35-year-old man from Hull was arrested. He was found to have around 20 wraps of class A drugs thought to be heroin on him.
Further intelligence led us to a property on Ryde Street where around 100 wraps of drugs, again thought to be heroin, and cash was found.
A 19-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested.
All the drugs and cash have been seized.
It’s thought the total value of the drugs amounts to over £3,000. More than £7,600 was found in cash.
Humberside Police believe this drugs seizure may be related to an earlier one made in the city, investigations are continuing.
