Hull: Attempted handbag robbery

Humberside Police are looking for two youths in connection with an attempted robbery in Hull.

It happened at the junction with Auckland Avenue and Inglemire Lane around 2pm on 31 July. 

Two women were walking along together when the youths allegedly rode up behind them on a red moped and tried to grab one of the women’s handbags.

The victim hung onto her bag and the suspects rode off. 

The scooter which was stolen has been recovered, however despite extensive searches to find the suspects they have so far been unable to.
